Ramy Raafat graduated from faculty of physiotherapy – Cairo university, he is working as a physiotherapist at police authority hospital, since his internship he started to study manual therapy ( Mulligan, Mckenzi, Maitland, and other approaches), he worked as a manual therapist but he was missing the global holistic approach which he has found as the main concept in Osteopathic philosophy after attending courses with Dr Hesham Khalil, so he decided to study osteopathy, he started with the first group to study osteopathy in Egypt and Middle East, he started in the European school of Osteopathy where he studied his first year, then he continued his osteopathic studies in the International Academy of Osteopathy
He realized that the Medical system in Egypt and Middle East needs global osteopathic approach to help patients with this holistic view of Health – not disease – so that clinicians can treat the real causes not only symptoms
So he is very committed to OsteoEgypt’s vision and mission to spread the word, he is responsible for the educational committee in OsteoEgypt
